Wednesday 26th May Chicago - Remington

Well I think Dave Woodfield gave us the kiss of death, he just finished saying that we must have a mechanical Drama or 2 somwhere?… well the forecast today is thunderstorms… not a great option when you have no wipers. The Campland sales and service billboard we saw at 1.00am last night is now trying to source a new wiper motor and mounts which sheared 4 weeks back… first answer was they need to order parts from the Adventurer factory 2-3 days wait… urr NO… that aint going to work. Now we are waiting on plan “B” which is sourcing stuff locally and modifying to fit. Fingers crossed… There goes our day in Chicago… oh well I wasn’t looking forward the notoriously hard prospect of finding a carpark anyway. Indianapolis has top priority. Finally we were on our way after a full day in the carpark. We booked into another KOA to get the washing done and empty all the nasty fluids out in preparation of 4 days at Indy in a field with zero facilities.
