Monday 24th Detroit.

Because we went to bed so late we woke up late, then the kids made a big push for another day here at this very cool motorcamp. So a chill out day was not a bad option. It will mean one less day in Chicago but we are all in need of a cruisey spell. So here we stayed. Still enough activities here, Baseball and Mini Golf plus now our Blog is right up to date.

  1. man you guys have got it sweet! all KOA's (in fact all camp grounds) were closed for the season when we went thru that part of the world so it was a matter of knocking on the owners door & hoping you caught him in a good enough mood to let you stay. let's just say that our waste never actually overflowed but i reckon it got pretty close a couple of times!
we also never met mr fat guts nasty immigration guy & even got away with telling the odd porky about citrus etc on board. we ducked in and out of Canada a couple of times and had no probs at all - I don't even think the RV got searched.
Also things like the Niagara Falls boat trip were closed for the season... so you guys are the smarter ones I think. Mind u, we got halloween, thanksgiving, christmas & new year so it evens out a little I guess.
Enjoy Chicago and say gidday to Oprah for me when you see her!
